Feel the Fear And Write It Anyway
If you want to try Article Marketing to promote your products and services but doubt your ability to write four or five hundred words on a topic you are familiar with, my advice to you is, feel the fear and write it anyway.
If you can talk about something, you can certainly write about it.
I am no different to you, and I’m sure the majority of Article Marketers carried the same gunny sack on their shoulders to begin with:
Who am I to write about this topic?
Is this good enough to be published?
How can I ever measure up to that?
Don’t let uncertainty sneak in and destroy your chances of something terrific.
Not too long ago, an old friend of mine was trying to be my guiding light and pin point what I am good at so I could turn my talents it into an incredible and lucrative career.
My friend is a very wealthy retired business woman. She has plenty of time to spare, and, more than enough money to spend in her spare time.
Even though she has a lot of friends, none of them have the same hobbies as her. None of them fish, none of them camp and none of them ride horses.
I do all three activities very well. Therefore, my friend wanted me to have the financial freedom she has.
Having a regular job wasn’t going to do it. We all know J.O.B., stands for Just Over Broke!
It had to be from my own personal resources. Then I would have all the free time I needed to go with my new-found wealth and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
Our objective was that I would be financially free, with time on my calendar to take an occasional fishing or camping trip with her whenever we felt like it, and, ride horses in between.
“I’m all for that,” I told her. “Let’s figure out what I’m good at and make a fortune at it.”
As we went through all my “talents,” I discussed in great detail with her each of them and how I could physically monetize them.
Hours later after hearing all I had to say on a variety of subjects, she stopped me in my tracks. I know what you’re exceptional at,” she said, “talking! You need to monetize your words!”
Now I am saying the same to you. Monetize your words. Write from the hip as though you are talking to an old friend about your favorite subject.
You can always go back and edit it later or have someone do it for you. The main thing is that you put what you have to say in writing!
The English language is an incredible language. There are so many different ways to say the same thing. Whatever way you care say it, your article will work out just fine.
